Héroux-Devtek’s Board of Directors is composed of eight members from various sectors, including the aviation industry and the business world, providing the management team with a comprehensive perspective.

 

Beverly Wyse

Corporate Director
Independent Director Since 2019 , Member of the Audit Committee

Ms. Wyse has worked for over 30 years at Boeing, most recently as President of Shared Services, a multi-billion dollar operating group. In that role, she refocused and restructured the organization and also delivered improved efficiency and performance. Previously, she was Vice-President & General Manager of Boeing South Carolina, a major manufacturing, assembly and delivery site for Boeing where she led the team through successful production rate increases, major improvements in workforce relations and significant reductions in operating costs. Throughout her extensive career at Boeing, Ms. Wyse also successfully led the 737, 767 and 787 Charleston programs. Ms. Wyse holds an MBA and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. She’s also a member of the Board of Trustees and the Finance and Investment Committee of the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.

Brian A. Robbins

Lead Director and Executive Chairman, Exco Technologies Limited.
Independent Board Member Since 2000, Member of the Human Resources and Corporate Governance Committee

Brian A. Robbins has been a Director of Héroux-Devtek since 2000, and is a member of the Audit Committee. He is President and Chief Executive Officer of Exco Technologies Limited, and a former Director of Ontario Power Generation Inc., TecSyn International, Inc., Telepanel Systems Inc., Allgoods Inc. and Noma Industries Inc. Mr. Robbins is a current Director of AirBoss of America Corp. and Dofasco Inc., and is a member of several associations. He holds a Bachelors Degree in applied science from the University of Waterloo and is a P.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.

Gilles Labbé

Executive Chairman of the Board
Non-Independent Board Member Since 1985

Mr. Labbé is Executive Chairman of the Board since June 2019 and was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Héroux-Devtek from 2000 to 2019. Previous to the acquisition of Devtek in that year, he was President and CEO of Héroux Inc. since 1989. He joined Héroux Inc. in 1982 and served in various senior management positions including Executive Vice President, Vice-President Finance and Administration, and Director of Finance. Mr. Labbé holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal and is a Chartered Accountant. He has received numerous business awards including the title of Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) by the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec. Mr. Labbé is a Director of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada, a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of CGI Group, as well as a Board Director of Aéro Montreal.

James J. Morris

Corporate Director and Consultant
Independent Director Since 2013, Member of the Human Resources and Corporate Governance Committee

James J. Morris retired from The Boeing Company at the end of 2006 after a multifaceted 35-year career. In his last assignment at Boeing, he served as Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Morris led the Commercial Airplanes Supplier Management organization where he was responsible for all purchasing and internal parts production for Boeing Commercial jetliners. In addition, Mr. Morris previously served as Vice President for Twin Aisle Airplanes with responsibility for the 747, 767 and 777 programs, as well as Vice President for U.S. Army Programs and Military Rotorcraft. He is currently a Director of Esterline Corporation, Lord Corporation and JURA Corporation.  Mr. Morris has been a Director of Héroux-Devtek since 2013.

Louis Morin

President, Busrel Inc.
Independent Director Since 2008, Chair of the Audit Committee

Louis Morin served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President of Québecor Inc. from 2007 to 2009. Previously, among his positions at Bombardier Inc., he served as Chief Financial Officer of Recreational Products from 2003 to 2006, and also as Vice-President of Finance of Bombardier Aerospace. He has served as a Financial Consultant at Beaudier since 2003. Mr. Morin has been a Director of Héroux-Devtek since 2008 and is a member of the Audit Committee. He also sits on the Board of Nurun Inc., and was formerly a Director of Komet Manufacturers Inc. Mr. Morin has been a Member of the Quebec Order of Chartered Accountants since 1981. He is also a Member of The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mr. Morin holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and an MBA from HEC Montréal.

Martin Brassard

Mr. Brassard joined Héroux Inc. in 1994. Before being appointed to his current duties in June 2019, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since November 2014. Mr. Brassard has held several senior management positions at Héroux: Controller (1994-1997); Project Manager, ERP software implementation (1997-1998); Vice-President, Control and Information Technology (1998-2005); and Vice President, General Manager, Landing Gear (2005-2014). Mr. Brassard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Université du Québec Trois-Rivires

Nathalie Bourque

Before 2005, she was a Partner at NATIONAL public relations, in charge of financial communications.

Paule Doré

Ms. Doré has nearly 30 years of management experience. She was a member of CGI's management from 1990 to 2006 as Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Officer. She was also Chair of the “Société d’habitation et de développement de Montréal (SHDM)” from 1988 to 1992, Chair of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal in 1997, Chair of the Board of the Montreal Design Institute from 1999 to 2002, and Chair of the Montreal YWCA Foundation from 2003 to 2005. She chairs the Human Resources and Corporate Governance Committee at Héroux-Devtek, is a member of the Boards of AXA Canada, CGI Group, Inc., Cogeco, and the Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations (IGPPO).
